Marieke's path began at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam, where she read Fine Arts and Material Science. What started as an academic curiosity grew into a real love for pairing artists with the right tools and materials.
After eight years with a specialist art materials distributor in Amsterdam, she settled in Eindhoven in 2015 with one clear aim: help hobbyists find quality supplies and learn to use them well. Since then she's led more than 120 workshops on painting, sustainable materials, and DIY projects across the region.
What motivates Marieke is straightforward. She's convinced that the right materials and good guidance turn casual hobbies into meaningful artistic practice.
